Gyro-n Local SEO Seminar with Shoichi Hasegawa from Plus Class
On August 31, UNIVA Gyro-n held a seminar on “Local SEO: Using Google to Attract Customers to Retail Businesses,” featuring Shoichi Hasegawa from Plus Class, Inc. Gyro-n local search consulting advisor Takuya Nagayama summarized key points in business profile. And Hasegawa, as a renowned expert on local marketing, introduced eight key points to consider in analyzing word-of-mouth and Consumer behavior to attract more customers and improve business. Given the speaker’s fame in the local SEO world, participant expectations were high. They were very pleased, indeed, that the seminar covered marketing strategy for attracting customers, as well as MEO know-how.
UNPTW attends Children Are Us Foundation press conference
On September 1, UNIVA Naturally Plus Taiwan (UNPTW) was an honored guest at a Children Are Us Foundation press conference. For four consecutive years, the company has participated in the foundation’s “Collect Cakes for Mother’s Day, Bring Love to the Neighborhood” event. It has collected and donated 5,773 cakes worth 2,727,534 New Taiwan Dollars. At the press conference, it was honored along with some of Taiwan’s most famous celebrities and largest companies. whose presence was a testimony to the attention drawn by this event. UNPTW will continue to participate in this kind of philanthropic activity.
UJP Inks Comprehensive Agreement with Horokanai in Hokkaido
On September 4, UNIVA Japan (UJP) signed a comprehensive agreement with Horokanai, a town in Hokkaido. The agreement covers
- Developing workcation business to promote tourism.
- Promoting sales of soba (Japanese buckwheat) grown Horokanai, which is No.1 in area under soba cultivation in Japan
- Promoting the quality of education provided by Horokanai High School, and
- The scheduled installation of a zero-carbon, as part of broad support for achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Note, too, the UJP-and-Horokanai workcation model was one of 30 proposals selected by the Japan Tourism Agency and the only one from Hokkaido. UJP will continue to work with the Japan Tourism Agency to promote workcation projects. The signing of this agreement was reported in the September 14 edition of the Hokkaido Shimbun newspaper.
UPC 1st Informal Forum
On August 23, UNIVA Paycast (UPC) held it first Informal Forum. This event’s purpose is to minimize gaps in awareness of the company’s direction throughout the company. It began with an hour-long presentation by President Shuhei Nakao on the company’s new W-CONCENT business. W-CONCENT stands for “World Concent* (Japanese English, means outlet).” The concept is to tie-up with global “super-APPs” to bring Japanese products to the whole of Asia. This presentation was followed by the R&D Division’s introduction to its achievements in making successful proposals to local governments and cooperating businesses. Participants tasted local specialties, while sharing information and exchanging views with their colleagues.
Group Companies Start New Fiscal Year with Annual General Meetings
Most UNIVA CAPITAL Group companies start their new fiscal year in September. In early September Naturally Plus Japan (NPJP), Naturally Plus Hong Kong (NPHK), Naturally Plus Singapore (NPSG), and UNIVA Japan (UJP) all held annual general meetings for all employees. At these meetings, they reviewed the previous year, share goals and strategies for the current period, and rededicated themselves to a brighter future. Prevented by COVID from meeting in person for two years, employees were delighted to be able to once again meet and mingle face-to-face.
Gyro-n Makes Public Interviews with Service Customers
UNIVA Gyro-n has made public interviews with a company that uses its spot-consulting service. That company is Five Needs Inc., a sake+IT venture that purchases sake and distributes it through e-commerce and retail channels and introduced Gyro-n spot consulting in May, 2022. Five Needs were happy to discover that within only a few months of embracing this service and using more accurate local SEO, problems identified before the service’s introduction had been solved. NPSG Family Day First Time in Two Years
On September 24, Naturally Plus Singapore’s Family Day was held in Singapore’s East Coast Park. Intended to be an annual event at which company staff and members mingle, Family Day had been canceled for two years running due to the COVID pandemic. This year’s event, sponsored by summit members, attracted 325 participants. Under bright blue skies they enjoyed exercise, games, and BBQ, as well as an opportunity to deepen ties with their NAKAMA.
