Our UNIVA CAPITAL Group NAKAMA work in 14 countries and regions. We live and work in different time zones, in places with different cultures. We differ in culture and habits and, yes, in fashion, too! We are a gorgeous and colorful group. Our topic this month is “NAKAMA Cool, Focus on Fashion.”

The jacket conveys a neat, proper feeling. The rolled up sleeves add a casual impression and prevent dirtying sleeves during cosmetics demonstrations. When I was a singer, the agency’s boss said, “The audience isn’t there for the song alone. They enjoy the costumes if they are eye-catching even from the back row.” In the beauty business we must always be striving to stand out and be gorgeous! He also said, “Those in the back must smell your fragrance when you step on stage,” so I use what many might find too much perfume.

I absolutely don’t want to be tanned! That’s all!!
I’m like a criminal. I want to confuse people. My parasol, sunglasses, mask, and long sleeves are essential. People on the street often give me a second or even a third look.
I’m not particular about brands. Mostly I wear ZARA Ladies.
They have large sizes which suit me.

On this day I went to a trade show to drum up new business. I was aiming to create an impressive but refreshing image, so I chose to wear blue and white. The lightweight backpack held my PC and materials. I also stuffed in a miniature fan.

I play grown-up baseball! I like wearing yukata and kimono at hotel terrace BBQs and grilling spareribs!! Basically I like a clean, sharp look. Cost-performance is important. My rule is, when I am with other people, to wear what is appropriate for the time, place, and occasion.
