UGT and NPGL Donate IZUMIO to Hospital in China

Following the relaxation of China’s Zero-COVID policy, COVID infections have spiked. After learning that infections were spreading among healthcare workers at the Nantong University College of Medicine Hospital, Naturally Plus Global (NPGL) and UNIVA Guangzhou Trading（UGT）contributed 2460 packs of IZUMIIO to the hospital, which distributed them as part of its philanthropic activities. Impressed by the speed of the NPGL and UGT response to the crisis, the hospital sent a thank-you letter to NP Group President, Takaaki Nagoshi.

UPC Holds First End-of-Year Party in Three Years

As 2022 was ending, UNIVA Paycast (UPC) held its face-to-face end-of-year party in three years. Following discussion of steps to prevent infection, nearly 50 employees enjoyed being able to come together. The theme of the party was “Teamwork.” It wasn’t just a dinner party. Volunteers organized games to strengthen teamwork. Besides Chairman Inaba participating as a special guest, newcomers joining the company in the next fiscal year were also invited. It was a heartwarming event. Everyone had a great time.

UNPHC Participates in Health Food Industry Seminar

On December 20, 2022, UNP Healthcare Vietnam（UNPHC）participated in a “Seminar Focused on the Health Food Industry” organized by the Ministry of Health and VTC News. Since 2018, the health food market in Vietnam has grown rapidly. Taking note of that trend, the government organized this seminar. TV coverage of the seminar was another sign of growing interest in the health food industry. Launched in November 2022, UNPHC has grown into a leader in pointing Vietnam to better health with its safe and secure products.

Uni Marche Valentine and White Day Fair

Starting on January 10, Uni Marche opened its annual Valentine & White Day Fair. Items on sale include organic chocolates and sugar and gluten-free chocolate sandwich cookies ideal for Valentine’s Day. Vegan donuts are among the limited-edition White Day offerings. DASH―UNPTW’s Biggest Annual Event

On January 14, UNIVA Naturally Plus (UNPTW)’s biggest annual event, DASH, was broadcast on YouTube. This year’s theme was “Independent Rise”, comprehending the process from awakening to dream to setting goals then taking action. The two-hour event included a review FY2022, presentation of awards, and announcement of strategy for FY2023. There were also speeches from Chairman Inaba and NP Group President Nagoshi. UNPTW celebrates its 20th anniversary in April, and everyone pledged to work with all their might to improve the company’s performance.

Last month we welcomed Kevin. He had, we have since learned, previously worked for UNIVA Paycast (UPC). He resigned to return to his home country, but then came back to Japan and rejoined UPC. Kevin, welcome back!
