UNIVA Fusion (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") has a major management goal of breaking away from the form centered on Kombucha Cleanse (product channel and sales channel), which has been a major issue for a long time, and it was the company's strategy.
On May 15, 2024, as a new product other than Kombucha Cleanse, we started selling the long-awaited functional food KOMBUCHA DETO®. Regarding KOMBUCHA DETO®, we would like to inform you of the contents of the product below.
1. Background of "KOMBUCHA DETO®" release
Amid growing health consciousness in Japan, the food market with functional claims is growing steadily. In particular, an increasing number of consumers are looking for prevention of lifestyle-related diseases and diet effects, and products that respond to heightened health awareness such as fat reduction and stress relief are attracting attention.
In the food market with functional claims, demand for products focusing on fat is increasing, and we have actively entered this unexplored market, the "food market with functional claims", and developed Japan's first*1 triple formula Kombucha. In order to meet the needs of consumers along with the growing health consciousness, we have developed a product that has the effect of burning fat, improving circulation, and maintaining skin moisture*2.
We aim to offer new options to consumers who are increasingly health-conscious in Japan as products that meet market demand.
*1 This is the first product in Japan to be registered as a food with a functional claim that combines two functionally involved ingredients with Kombucha.
*2 It has been reported that the functional ingredient arulose has the function of making it easier to burn fat in the energy metabolism of daily life (at rest and during daily activities). Plant-based lactic acid bacteria K-1 (L. casei327) has been reported to help tone the tummy and improve circulation. In addition, it has been reported that it prevents skin moisture from escaping and maintains the function of protecting the skin from dryness (barrier function).

It has been reported that the rare sugar (alulose) contained in this product burns fat not only during daily activities, but also at rest. It supports a healthy diet and fat burning.

The lactic acid bacteria contained in this product (plant-based lactic acid bacteria K-1)
will help improve the inner environment for those with constipation.

We will expand sales of KOMBUCHA DETO® by focusing on Internet marketing utilizing influencers, which is our specialty know-how.
We are also working to expand the sales channels of existing Kombucha Cleanse by expanding our BtoB sales channels.
This fiscal year, we will aim to establish a profit base, including the launch of long-awaited new products and expansion of sales channels.
