UNIVA Paycast (UPC) has begun offering EMV 3-D Secure. EMV 3-D Secure is a service that performs additional authentication such as a one-time password only for transactions that the card company considers high risk based on the card user's payment information, etc. With this service update, all UnivaPay affiliated stores can offer secure credit card payments via EMV 3-D Secure. By adapting to the ever-changing online payment environment and maintaining a high level of security, UNIVA Paycast will continue to provide payment services that can be used safely and with peace of mind by participating stores and consumers. On April 1st, UNIVA Japan (UJP) welcomed three new graduates. UJP places importance on nurturing new employees, and on March 14th, prior to the start of their jobs, they held a training session for accepted applicants on the theme of "The meaning of work," sharing UJP's guiding principle that "learning about success and growth from challenge and failure" is one of the company's guiding principles. In addition, a joint training session for new graduates was held in Horokanai Town with UNIVA Paycast from April 23rd to 25th. Each company explained their business and engaged in lively discussions about revitalizing the Horokanai area. We look forward to our new graduates getting used to their new environment and work as quickly as possible and shining in their respective fields.

UNIVA Paycast (UPC) has joined "Minna no Hokkaido 2100," which aims for the sustainable development of Hokkaido. "Minna no Hokkaido 2100" is an NPO that brings together a variety of stakeholders, including local governments, companies, organizations, and local residents, to work to resolve regional issues such as a declining birthrate and an aging population, as well as depopulation. We will utilize the payment solutions, knowledge, and resources we have cultivated to contribute to the local community and create new possibilities through collaboration with other participants.

On April 1, UNIVA Holdings' consolidated subsidiary Sterling Securities Co., Ltd. changed its name to UNIVA Securities Limited, and Kenji Inagawa, current head of the investment banking department, was appointed Representative Director and President. Going forward, UNIVA Securities will manage the UNIVA FUND and further strengthen its support for the growth of companies in Japan that are either listed or preparing to be listed.

UNIVA Oak Holdings' business models are divided into three types: hunting, farming, and development. On April 26th, Naturally Plus Singapore (NPSG) held a hydrogen water seminar, inviting Professor Shigeo Ohta, a "leading authority on hydrogen research." As this was Professor Ohta's first visit to Singapore in 10 years, all 450 tickets were sold out immediately! In addition, Junichi Igarashi, a director of Shefco Co., Ltd., the manufacturer of NP hydrogen water products, also took to the stage to explain the manufacturing process and safety of hydrogen water. The popularity of hydrogen water is increasing year by year in Singapore, making this a very meaningful seminar with high satisfaction for the participants.
