UNIVA Group's strategic investment portfolio company OwlTing (Parent Company: OBOOK Holdings, Inc.) officially listed on the Nasdaq Global Market on October 16, 2025 (Ticker: OWLS). This listing marks the beginning of a new stage for OwlTing as it leaps into the global capital markets. During the bell-ringing ceremony, OwlTing Founder and CEO Darren Wang painted the eyes on a "daruma" doll he brought. This daruma was gifted by Mr. Inaba, Chairman and Group CEO of UNIVA Group, in January this year, expressing his wish for OwlTing's successful NASDAQ listing. For many years, UNIVA Group has supported visionary and internationally oriented companies through strategic investment. Moving forward, UNIVA Group will continue to create a sustainable and impactful future with its partners, driven by innovation and conviction.

UNIVA Energy (UE) established the joint venture company UNIVA FIT Co., Ltd. (UNIVA FIT) with Fit Founder Co., Ltd. on October 1st. UNIVA FIT sells products such as solar panels, storage batteries, and EcoCute (electric water heaters) to single-family homes. It also proposes switching to new electricity providers for stores and small businesses, leading to sales of power generation equipment, storage batteries, and more. Furthermore, Fit Founder possesses land development capabilities for solar power generation facilities and grid-connected storage stations, along with connections to various companies and sales capabilities targeting small and medium-sized enterprises. This positions it to expand business through co-creation with other UNIVA Group companies, including UE, North Energy, and UNIVA Japan. The renewable energy business is positioned as one of the UNIVA Group's core businesses, and UNIVA FIT will contribute to realizing a carbon-free society.

UNIVA Hong Kong Trading (UHKT), a consolidated subsidiary of UNIVA・Oak Holdings, obtained a wholesale license for pharmaceuticals (traditional Chinese medicine) from Hong Kong authorities in September this year. Following this, UHKT opened platform accounts on major Chinese e-commerce sites Tmall, JD.com, and Alibaba Health, commencing wholesale sales. By the end of September this year, it achieved orders totaling approximately HKD 6.9 million (approximately ¥132 million). UHKT has since steadily accumulated orders, making a promising start ahead of China's largest online shopping event, November 11th (Singles' Day). Its flagship product is Wood Lock Medicated Oil, a traditional medicinal oil beloved in Hong Kong for over half a century, with cumulative sales reaching 260,000 units in two months.

UNIVA America (UAI) participated in Advertising Week, the largest annual advertising and marketing industry conference held in New York. Companies exhibited at booths showcasing the latest advertising and marketing techniques and technologies, including AI. Simultaneously, networking events, seminars, and workshops were held throughout the day, attracting participants from across the United States and internationally. UNIVA Energy (UE) obtained a Special Construction Business License in October. This enables UE to undertake large-scale construction projects valued at 50 million yen or more. UE is advancing its business, focusing on vertical solar systems (commonly known as "Yukinko Solar"), targeting snowfall regions such as Hokkaido, Tohoku, and Hokuriku, while also aiming for expansion into non-snowfall areas. The acquisition of this license is expected to drive significant growth in UE's renewable energy business.

As it launches its advertising business, UNIVA Gyro-n (UG) has welcomed Kazuki Shimizu, a professional in digital advertising operations, as a Fellow. Mr. Shimizu is a marketing expert who has been active at the forefront of the digital advertising industry since its early days. He possesses advanced data analysis skills in digital marketing and deep expertise and proven results in managing performance-based advertising. This includes search ads and display ads (representative examples: Google Ads and Yahoo! Ads), social media ads (e.g., Meta Ads), and feed-based ads (e.g., Criteo). With Mr. Shimizu's participation, Gyro-n aims to combine user behavior data visualized through its suite of digital marketing optimization tools (SEO/MEO/EFO) with his advanced operational expertise to design and deliver performance-driven programmatic advertising that delivers stronger results.

On October 8th, UNIVA Paycast (UPC) launched "Coco Furu," a local consumption-based hometown tax donation site, in Miura City, Kanagawa Prefecture—the first such launch in the Kanto region. Located at the southernmost tip of the Miura Peninsula, Miura City is a town renowned for its beautiful coastline, surrounded by the sea on three sides, and its rich natural environment. As a service enabling visitors to "experience this special region firsthand," participating local businesses will simultaneously begin offering experience-focused thank-you gifts designed to inspire travel. On November 21, UNIVA Securities (US) co-hosted the "NEXT VALUE PITCH" event at Toranomon Global Square alongside OTOT and Webull Securities. This event garnered attention as a platform connecting domestic and international investors with growing companies, showcasing new possibilities for Japanese businesses. On the day, startup support expert Gaku Fukutani served as facilitator. The event featured a talk session with UNIVA Securities Advisor Shoji Kitayama and others, alongside pitch presentations by 10 selected companies. Discussions incorporating the perspectives of overseas investors created a meaningful opportunity to jointly create "NEXT VALUE."
