Naturally Plus and the New Normal
It has already been two years since the start of this unprecedented pandemic. Hoping to return to normality, many nations have already announced the relaxation of restrictions on movement and are groping for ways to co-exist with the new corona virus.
The Naturally Plus Group, based in 12 countries, has during these two years held major events online, stopped or delayed incentive tours, and halted salon operations for long periods. In recent months, however, as rules governing travel both inside and outside Japan have been relaxed, conditions affecting both restructuring and event organization have changed. In February, for example, Naturally Plus Indonesia organized an in-country incentive tour to Bali. In March, Naturally Plus Philippines reopened salons for the first time in two years. That same month, Naturally Plus Malaysia, for the first time in three years, arranged a tour to Langkawi Island, one of Asia’s premiere resorts, for 700 members who achieved campaign goals.
The restart of long-awaited big events has heightened member motivation and become a driver for vigorous business activity. Hearing about these events, members in other countries have been speaking up about their desire for “real, not virtual” events in their own nations.
In this “new normal” era, we must develop new hybrid approaches to business, combining the face-to-face communication that has been a strength for network business, with the new opportunities that online offers. The growing penetration of the online and digital into the real make it possible to hold and promote hybrid events, substantially increasing online registration and use of our app.
In our 23rd term, total group sales were 96.5% of the previous year. This achievement was due to the efforts of our staff, who carried on in the face of limitations caused by salon closures and overseas supply chain disruptions. We owe them our heartfelt gratitude for their unflagging hard work.
Naturally Plus business is filled with opportunities to meet people from all over the world. This May, the World Leadership Invitational (WLI) was held in Los Cabos in Mexico. Plans for Naturally Plus FESTA 2022 include, for the first time since 2020, tours for overseas participants. I am personally looking forward to this long-awaited opportunity to meet a large number of our overseas members.
Our products have fans in 124 countries and regions, but 205 countries and regions participated in the Tokyo Olympics. As a company promoting good health, with the ability to contribute to better health for a growing number of people, we have enormous potential. By grasping and addressing the needs of our times, we can ensure the growth of the Naturally Plus Group and forge ahead with our Group’s expansion.
