UPC Workcation OJT for New Graduate Hires

From June 7-9, UNIVA Paycast (UPC) tried out for the first time “Workcation On-the-Job Training (OJT) for New Graduates” in Hokkaido for its workcation business. During their workcation OJT, new graduate hires visited Toyako, the first town to introduce the Kokofuru local consumption hometown tax system, and the Upoypoy National Ainu Museum in Shiraoi. The new hires visited these communities with members of the R&D Division and exchanged opinions concerning local development. This was an excellent opportunity to learn the necessity of listening to local voices.

NPMY Presents Earthquake Relief Donation to Turkish Embassy

One June 8, Naturally Plus Malaysia (NPMY) presented an earthquake relief donation of 20,000 ringgits collected from NPMY members to the Turkish Embassy. The donation was accompanied by heartfelt prayers for a speedy recovery in the regions affected by the recent earthquake.

NPHK Exhibits at HK Health Expo in cooperation with Lorraine

From June 9 to 11, Naturally Plus Hong Kong (NPHK) participated in a health exposition jointly sponsored by Summit Member Lorraine. The high-quality “Made in Japan” products displayed at the NPHK booth were of great interest to many visitors to the exposition.

UAI Participates in America’s Largest Wellness Event

Solstice in Times Square is a famous New York event held on the day of the summer solstice. America’s largest wellness event, it takes over the whole of Times Square for the whole of that day. Around ten thousand people of various ages, genders and nationalities, both locals and tourists, participate. A majority are highly health-conscious Millennials and Gen-Z. Many large corporations are sponsors, offering visitors samples of new products. This event attracts a high degree of attention in both mass media and SNS, making it a not-to-be-missed opportunity for brand PR. This year UNIVA America, Inc. On June 26, the new head office of Mitsui E&S Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. designed by UNIVA Japan (UJP) was introduced in Nihon Kaiji Shimbun and Yahoo! News. Mitsui E&S Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., which became a subsidiary of Tsuneishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., has moved 120 employees to its new headquarters with the aim of deepening its fabless business and improving operational efficiency. UJP reflects the voices of working people and adopts a free address layout. The design was highly praised by the employees for its color concept of forest, land, and sea.

UPC’s Tanaka Performs at Overseas Music Event

On July 10 UNIVA Paycast (UPC)’s Shinya Tanaka, who plays electric bass in the Osaka-based band Qu, performed at the Grass Roots Music Festival at Yellow House in Taiwan. There Tanaka performed eight of Qu’s original numbers and thoroughly enjoyed his overseas debut.

NPMY Biggest Annual Event: MY KIZUNA 2023―BEYOND

On July 16, Naturally Plus Malaysia (NPMY) held MY KIZUNA 2023―BEYOND, its biggest annual event, at the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre. A crowd of 3000 assembled for this event to which Dr. Michael Crabtree was invited. The next day, Dr. Crabtree conducted a seminar on RIAGEV, the active ingredient in NPMY’s new next-generation drink WAKAKU+, drawing attention to this new product for which NPMY has high hopes.

NPSG Hospice Care CSR Event

On July 28, Naturally Plus Singapore (NPSG) held its sixth corporate social responsibility (CSR) event with HCA Hospice Care. Because of the COVID pandemic, this was the first such event in three years. Seventy-two NPSG members and staff accompanied 54 patients to River Wonders, Asia’s first river-themed wildlife park, allowing the patients to enjoy its natural beauty as well as loving care. For the patients this was an unforgettably wonderful memory.
