Evolving into a Driving Force: RBL

This year, UNIVA RBL will advance its activities under the keywords of challenge and progress to further solidify the foundation we have built.

First, regarding the match schedule: Season 1 kicks off at Shinjuku Cinecity Plaza on May 30th and 31st, followed by events in Nagoya, Kyoto, and Kumamoto. The Final Round will be held in Fukuoka in July. The top five teams based on combined Round 1 and Round 2 results will advance to the UENOHARA Challenger.

Beyond the domestic tournaments planned, we are also advancing plans to participate in collaborative events with local communities as a new initiative. Through this, we aim not only to enhance performance as a competitive sport but also to expand opportunities for more people to learn about RBL.

As numerical targets, starting in fiscal year 2027, we plan to launch in countries like India and the UAE. As a league, we are advancing initiatives such as establishing support systems for international tournament participation and overseas expeditions, as well as the RBL WORLD CHALLENGE concept (establishing an international tournament featuring top teams from each country, expanding and promoting it globally).

Beyond improving individual player statistics, we will also prioritize quantitative metrics such as organizational operational efficiency and expanding our fan base. This year, in particular, we aim to fully leverage the results of our accumulated data analysis to enhance the precision of our match strategies and development programs. Numbers are not merely goals; they are vital indicators that visualize our growth and guide our next actions. We will steadily achieve these targets and aim even higher.

Looking ahead, we aspire for RBL to transcend being merely a sports organization and become a source that returns new value and inspiration to the entire group. Many of RBL's strengths—teamwork rooted in sports, speed of decision-making, and flexibility in adapting to environmental changes—are directly applicable assets in the business world. We will accumulate daily efforts to evolve RBL from an "organization that is supported" into an "organization that leads the group."

Finally, I want to convey to everyone in the group that RBL exists because of your support and encouragement.
