Gyro-n Wins “Best Proposal” in Gifu Prefecture Visitor Attraction Plan Competition

UNIVA Gyro-n won “Best Proposal” in the Gifu prefecture data-driven tourism analysis competition. This was an open competition in which contestants proposed tourism promotion measures in Gifu area based on data analysis utilizing digital tools such as web maps. Gyro-n’s proposal included 5 components; 1) use of “Google My Business Data” from 500 tourist facilities in Gifu, 2) analysis of demand and incoming visitors based on the data gathered from Google My Business, 3) business expansion analysis based on routing search and search words, 4) a local marketing expert, Mr. Takuya Nagayama’s analysis and observations, and 5) measures to promote tourism. Gyro-n spent 6 months to collect data and prepare the proposal. The selection committee gave high marks not only on the quality of the proposal but also to the enthusiasm that Gyro-n exhibited.

NPMY Held 12th-Year Anniversary Event

Naturally Plus Malaysia (NPMY) held its 12th-year anniversary event on December 10th, 2021. NPMY was founded in 2009. The employees and members have worked hard and worked together to grow NPMY into one of the largest direct sales companies in Malaysia. Currently, 45 employees are operating 5 salons in Malaysia. NPMY generated 10 CFC achievers and 55 summit members. CFC is the highest rank for Naturally Plus members, and Summit achievers earn over US$10,000 per month. In addition to 45 members who attended at the event in person, many people celebrated the occasion online. 98% of current NPMY members are ethnic Chinese. Capturing the Malay market is the key to NPMY’s further growth, as ethnic Malay people represent over 70% of Malaysia’s population. NPMY staffs and members are not afraid of setbacks and will be implementing new strategies to pursue ongoing growth.

NPHK Held “Ba Duan Jin Rally”

Twenty-six members attended “Ba Duan Jin Rally” on December 11th, 2021 held by Naturally Plus Hong Kong (NPHK). In pursuit of the group mission of, “promoting health and wellbeing to people all over the world”, NPHK regularly holds health promotion events for members and employees. Ba Duan Jin (Eight Silken Movements) is a type of Chinese qigong. The name refers to how the eight individual movements characterize and impart a silken quality to the body and its energy. Mr. Lee Man Kit Edward, the instructor and a NPHK member is 82 years old! After the Ba Duan Jin exercise, Joe, an NPHK CFC achiever shared NP product information and his experience with Naturally Plus’s business. This was the fifth “Ba Duan Jin Rally” so far. The event has become popular, with more and more members participating.

100 Members Participate in NPMY Incentive Tour

Naturally Plus Malaysia (NPMY) members who achieved the “Rank Up Campaign” goals were awarded an incentive tour to Cherating Beach from December 17th to 19th, 2021. 100 achievers were recognized at the ceremony held at the hotel where they stayed. Due to COVID-19, face-to-face recognition ceremonies had not taken place for a long time. The occasion brought much joy and encouragement to the attendees. Meeting their NAKAMA in person boosted these members’ morale. They set even higher goals for the future and vowed to attain them.

  • Who can submit the application: Applicant himself/herself
  • Awards (Shining Star): 10 people or teams will receive “Shining Star” awards
  • Recognition: “Shining Stars” will be recognized at the UNIVA CAPITAL Group Employee Meeting on February 18th, 2022
  • Final contest: Will take place in March, 2022
  • Winners: 3 people/teams (US$1,000 prize will be given to each winner)
