Uni Marche Goal and Strategy This Fiscal Year
“Eating, getting together, enjoying life. Making, eating, and laughing with everyone.” Yes, you know me, Takeuchi from Uni Marche.
Uni Marche, launched on June 1, 2016, is starting our seventh year. I joined the company two years later. Uni Marche started out as a benefit for Naturally Plus members, who remain strong supporters. I offer my heartfelt thanks to each and every Naturally Plus member.
That said, we continued to confront ongoing difficulties. Something new had to be done. Last year, with Chairman Inaba’s help, we offered special deals on products sold to Oak Capital shareholders, which boosted our sales enormously. For this business opportunity I offer my heartfelt thanks to Chairman Inaba.
Seizing this opportunity, this year our goal is not BtoC but instead to expand our BtoB sales network. Taking full advantage of the preferential purchase scheme developed for Oak shareholders, we will use our two most potent weapons, products and distribution, to open new sales channels.
The reality is that while many companies are interested in food, they give up because they lack knowhow, products, and distribution. We have received inquiries from several companies and conversations on how to proceed are underway. We are doing everything in our power to tie up with partner companies and bring them into the fold as fully fledged members of the Uni Marche team.
