In the New Year's issue three years ago, when we disclosed NAKAMA's New Year's resolutions, they were quite popular. As we celebrate the New Year, we will introduce some of our NAKAMA's New Year's resolutions.

This commitment will not only enhance my skills but also contribute more effectively to our team. Additionally, I recognize the importance of a healthy body and mind to sustain my productivity. I plan to engage in regular exercise and wellness activities to enhance my physical fitness, which will positively impact my performance at work. Since last year, I have been in charge of tax accounting at UNIVA Rhizoma, and in 2025 I will continue to keep this motto in mind as I work. In addition to accounting and tax compliance, I will continue to deepen my expertise and devise ways to conduct our business more efficiently in order to provide timely and accurate information. Also, this year, I will resume running, which I had been skipping for a long time after giving birth! My first goal is to finish 10 km in 60 minutes. 2025 is the year, and I will adapt flexibly to change and molt this year.

My New Year's resolution is to continue to have the spirit of "seeking wisdom and thirst". Last year, I focused on cloud technology, and it was a fulfilling year to solve problems while learning new skills. In 2025, I continue to absorb new technologies and perspectives with the desire to "crave for knowledge" without forgetting my curiosity. In particular, I aim to improve operational efficiency and create a stable environment by focusing on system improvements using automation technology. I will strive to grow myself so that I can provide more value while cherishing each day this year.

It has been two years since I joined Naturally Plus Osaka Salon. I will do my best every day to respond politely according to members requests so that members can focus on business activities. In my private life, I want to spend more time going to yoga and interacting with myself both mentally and physically, and have an energetic year.

The year 2025 will mark the 24th anniversary of FM Karuizawa's launch. Speaking of 24 years old, Ken Shimura became a member of the Drifters, Paul McCartney created "Yesterday" and River Phoenix passed away. Companies are also treated as “people” by the law. It's not because of that, but sometimes I get heartbroken (to partner companies), I get a stomach ache (due to various things inside), and I feel the greatest joy even if it doesn't make money. FM Karuizawa 24 years old, I will be aggressive and defensive, and I will be in a year where I will gather a lot of joy, anger and sorrow.

Last year, aiming to achieve a V-shaped recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, which caused substantial damage, marked a major milestone for UNIVA Mutual Aid, which is the launch of new products. In line with the market of Japan, one of the countries with the lowest birthrate and aging population in the world, we have released a revolutionary product that can be subscribed to for only 1,300 yen until the age of 89, and it has received a great response. In 2025, we hope to collaborate with related companies with the aim of further expanding sales of new products. We deeply appreciate your continued support this year!

In 2024, I worked on the two axes of partner sales and marketing activities and responsible for the customer management system. In addition, I have learned and shared the knowledge I have gained so that all employees can effectively utilize the customer management system. As a result, I was selected as a "hero" in the internal awards. On the other hand, this year marks the 10th anniversary of my work as a member of the Group Human Resources Legal Department. Therefore, as a new challenge, I am planning to realize social contribution activities as a UNIVA Group. I am currently looking for fun activities based on our various volunteer experiences, such as events that invite children from the Asian Pacific region to Japan, and activities to donate picture books to Asian countries. My first year at the company was a year of learning because I had no experience, but this year I will focus on the output part and work on various things so that I can connect what I have learned to my work.

I returned to work from maternity leave in April last year and am currently working reduced hours. When I first returned to work, I had a hard time balancing work changes and childcare, and I sometimes had to take time off due to a sudden illness of my child. In the midst of all this, I was supported by the warm words of "don't worry about it" from everyone in the company, and I gradually gained confidence. This year my child turned two, so I want to try to be more flexible. When I am not feeling well, I would like to use telework to devise ways to keep my work uninterrupted, as well as to improve my skills and further enhance my contribution to the company. I aim to have a year in which I can grow positively while balancing my family and work life.
